We want to welcome you to both of our public evening events.

*On the 1st Tuesday of each month we have a movie and education night that will feature an educational birth video (list of videos and dates shown follows) and a discussion with our Midwives on birth alternatives.  We encourage families to find the provider and birth location that is most approriate for and desired by them.  We invite you to come with your questions and insights.  We serve light snacks.

*On the 3rd Thursday of each month we have a Social where we will have the public, current and former clients, and interested parties meet for some visiting and discussion with Certified Nurse Midwives and other childbirth professionals.  We serve light snacks.

We welcome friends and family to both activities.  We are a family friendly location so feel free to bring your children. 

*March 5th movie will be Birth Day; “a documentary exquisitely capturing the beauty of a natural home birth in the lush mountain countryside of Xalapa, Veracruz, mexico.”  This 11 minute film is graphic and shows birth and body images – please bring only those whom you are comfortable seeing these images.  7-8pm

*March 21st will be a family social for all former and current clients and all other interested individuals - Please come! 7-8 pm

*April 2nd movie will be Natural Born Babies, A Modern Birth Story; “A first person account of today’s natural childbirth. Told by 10 mothers, a short film chronicles their journeys to challenge the conventional hospital birth model and to give birth their own way.” Lorri Walker, CNM. This 24 minute film is appropriate for all ages and does not show birth images. 7-8 pm

*April 18th will be a family social for all former and current clients and all other interested individuals - Please come! 7-8 pm

*May 7th movie will be Birth as We Know It; “A brief, gentle, yet powerful introduction into the world and nature of Conscious birth.” This 20 minute film is graphic and shows birth and body images – please bring only those whom you are comfortable seeing these images. 7-8pm

*May 16th will be a family social for all former and current clients and all other interested individuals - Please come! 7-8 pm

*June 4th movie will be It’s My Body My Baby My Birth; “an educational childbirth film that tells the story of seven mothers and their emotional journeys to natural childbirth.” This 28 minute film is graphic and shows birth and body images – please bring only those whom you are comfortable seeing these images. 7-8pm

*June 20th will be a family social for all former and current clients and all other interested individuals - Please come! 7-8 pm
