Vaginal Birth After Cesarean

or VBAC, can be an opportunity for women to reclaim their body's ability to birth naturally.  It is a safe option in most circumstances.  We here at The Birth Center offer this option to otherwise low risk clients.  We understand that additional emotional support and careful testing are necessary to assure the success and safety of mother and baby.  If you have had one or two prior cesarean deliveries for a non-repeatable reason, and you are otherwise a healthy pregnant woman, we would love to discuss this option with you.  We offer:

  • Education, in a variety of different ways, so that you can make the best decision for you and your baby.

  • A VBAC class, that is open to the public, to assist you in your successful birth.

  • Emotional support for you and your partner

  • Skilled providers that always put the safety of you and your baby first

  • A monthly Post Cesarean Support Group led by Midwife Eve German, LDEM is held at The Birth Center and offered to the public.  Call 801 288 2229 for dates and times, or see our calendar for the next meeting.

  • Enjoy the video below. One of our 2015 VBAC clients took the time to document her triumphant story, ending with beautiful pictures from the birth by Earthside Photography.  (discretion advised for partial nudity.)
